What is the logic here? Something with the binary?
how can you get the code 8-5-4-3?
This series level appears to have no logic what so ever. When doing the walk throughs please try to explain the logic. Thanks
When each blade comes out there is a 1 under certain numbers. The first blade has a 1 under the 8. The second blade has 1s under the 4 and 1 so 4+1=5. So on and so on.
it’s binary.
1000 = 8
0101 =5
0100 = 4
0011 = 3
how can you tell the sequence of blade?
It is the binary. 1= yes, 0=no. Ie:
8421 stated on the wall
1000 on the 1st blade means it has one 8, no 4, no 2, no 1,
Thus equals to 8+0+0+0=8
The 0101 on the second blade means it has no 8, one 4, no 2, one 1.
Thus equals to 0+4+0+1=5
Apply the rest until you get four digits.
About the sequence of the code. Maybe the edge of the blade “1000” pointed at the button “1” on the pass code panel. Represent the first number of the code.
the second blade (0101) and third blade (0100) popped out together and cover the button “2” and “3” on the panel, represents the second and third code number respectively.
The last blade (0011) actually covers the button “4”, shows that it is the last code number and gives us the combination of “8543”….. But this sequence task is just my guessing. Still waiting for better explanation. Good luck~~~~~
I got the code 8 5 3 4 and it worked.
It’s Binary code,
1000 = 8, 0101 = 5, 0100 = 4, 0011 = 3;
Doesn’t matter what order you entered the code, it would still work.
8421 shows its binary. Becoz 2to power of 3 is 8 (2x2x2=8), 4 is 2×2, 2 is 2 to power one, 1 is 2 to power 0. This means its 2- based system
Regarding the sequence, as long as u key in these 4 digits: 3,4,5,8 in no matter what order wil also do. I personally tried this many times. Sequence doesn’t matter
As above, the order of the digits entered in the code do not matter. As long as it includes 8, 5, 4 and 3.
These numbers are obtained from the binary numbers written on the four blades. The sequence of blade opening is also irrelevant. However, the idea is you see all four binary numbers before you lock yourself away from the code..
When the first button is pressed the blade opens. It then closes again. Two buttons then need to be pressed and then both blades open. Then three, and then four. If you open all four, you die.
Basically you need to open one blade, note the number, then on the next turn open two other blades and note the numbers and then on the next turn make sure to open the last blade. You then have the four digits you need to enter the code.
So the 8421 on the wall seems to be irrelevant.
