*** LOGIC
The Roman Numerals on the BOX match the positions in the painting.
Each item has a four digit number.
Use the digit that fits in the position of the white box in the box on the mantle.

I: White Napkin (Turkey) – 3113, Digit Position 1 = 3
II: White Platter – 1327, Digit Position 4 = 7
III: Wine Glass – 9958, Digit Position 2 = 9
IV: Cork (Blue Bottle) – 6354, Digit Position 3 = 5
Therefore, code = 3795

  1. Patricia says:

The “logic” in this is such a stretch! The cork with the number is NOT the bottle and the number on the napkin is NOT the turkey. So trying to puzzle out where the numbers play when two of the items in the painting don’t have numbers on them themselves is a stretch. And then to figure out that it is the ” top” “bottom” “left” “right” for the items in the painting?! Sheesh.

  2. Ernest says:

I agree with patrician… way to much of a streach… get more realistic guys.

  3. Laura says:

The instructions for this walkthrough for tapping the jewels are completely incoherent. It is not at all clear which circles to tap in what order.

  4. Tan says:

Without the help above, I would never had completed this. Thanks OP.

  5. Busco says:

The correlation between cork/bottle and napkin/turkey didn’t bother me as much as the use of Roman numerals to represent the digit position AND the digit position number BOTH in the combination. I spent over ab hour trying to find the relationship between the numbers in the fireplace and those on the box.

  6. miyi says:

    How do i know I=turkey II=white platter III=wine glass IV=blue bottle???

  7. matt says:

these are just getting retarded now. a fun puzzle is one that can be solved… these are no longer fun. I certainly won’t be playing doors and rooms 2

  8. Ina says:

What the heck is wrong with you guys…this is still solvable AND logical

  9. Dave says:

Fireplace gives order of which clue to use, refer to picture.
    I-turkey/napkin
    II-Plate
    III-Goblet
    IV- Bottle Cork
Each ofthe above has 4 numbers so which one .Answer see the box Each number is offset by 1to 4
So clue I -1st number; II- 4th number; III-2nd number of clue; IV- 3rd number of clue.
Logical when you look back but tricky to figure.

  10. Amber says:

The roman numeral corresponds with the placement of the items in the picture above the fireplace. The 4-digit code for the box will be each items clue number by the place number that they correspond to on the fireplace clue. You will not be able to type in all four numbers for each items but you can estimate what number belongs in each spot i.e.: White napkin (turkey) 3113 is I on the fireplace clue and 3 on the box code because 3 is the first number in the 4 digits. The plater 1327 is II on the fireplace and 7 because 7 is the last (fourth) digit of the 4 digits. The wine glass 9958 is III on the fireplace clue and 9 on the box code because the code shows the placement of the 2nd digit, which would be 9. And lastly, The corkscrew (wine bottle) 6354 is IV on the fireplace clue and 5 on the box code because the code shows the placement of the 3rd digit of the 4 digits, which is 5. To the person in charge: I should not have to do this as this is called a “walkthrough” not an “answers only list”
